RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

Inquiries and reservations are accepted via our website, by email, phone, or in person at the hotel reception. By booking through this website, the user confirms full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions, which become legally binding for both the customer and Villa Dubrovnik.

When making a reservation, the customer is required to provide all necessary information. To be considered valid, a reservation must be guaranteed by a valid credit card. The credit card is used solely as a guarantee, and payment is made upon the cancelation policy becomes active.

All personal and credit card data are fully protected and transmitted via a secure server.

All bookings made via the online reservation system are considered valid only upon confirmation by the central sales office of Villa Dubrovnik. The reservation confirmation must be presented at check-in. Reservations may be confirmed online or via email.

All additional services are charged at the hotel reception prior to departure.

Check-in time: from 15:00
Check-out time: until 12:00

 

TOURIST TAX

In accordance with applicable regulations, guests are required to pay the tourist tax together with their accommodation.

The tourist tax in the Republic of Croatia varies by destination. Children under 12 years of age are exempt, while children aged 12 to 18 receive a 50% discount.

The exact amount is clearly specified on the invoice issued upon payment of services and is determined by the Croatian Government.

 

SERVICE PRICE

The service price represents the amount per person/night or per room/day as indicated in the official price list. Additional services are not included and are charged separately.

Hotel Villa Dubrovnik reserves the right to change service prices at any time. For guests who have paid a deposit or provided a valid guarantee, the price valid at the time of booking is guaranteed.

For walk-in guests, prices and conditions are based on the valid price list at reception.

Prices include à la carte breakfast and VAT.

All payments are made in EUR. If payment is made with a foreign credit card, the EUR amount may be converted into the cardholder’s local currency according to the issuer’s exchange rate. Differences may occur.

Reservations of more than five rooms may be subject to special conditions and additional costs.

 

FACILITY CATEGORIZATION

Hotel Villa Dubrovnik is categorized by the competent authorities of the Ministry of Tourism in accordance with applicable legislation.

 

RIGHT OF VILLA DUBROVNIK TO ALTERATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

Villa Dubrovnik reserves the right to modify reservations or service descriptions in cases of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.

Confirmed accommodation may be replaced with accommodation of the same or higher category at the originally confirmed price, with timely notification to the guest.

If alternative accommodation is not available and the stay has been prepaid, Villa Dubrovnik reserves the right to cancel the reservation and refund the full amount.

 

GUEST’S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

All changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

If modification is not possible and the reservation is canceled, the following conditions apply:

Low Season (April, November)

  • Up to 5 days prior to arrival: no charge
  • Within 5 days prior to arrival: 100% of total stay (non-refundable)
  • No-show / early departure: 100% of total stay

Shoulder Season (May, October)

  • Up to 14 days prior to arrival: no charge
  • Within 14 days prior to arrival: 100% of total stay (non-refundable)
  • No-show / early departure: 100% of total stay

High Season (June – September)

  • Up to 21 days prior to arrival: no charge
  • Within 21 days prior to arrival: 100% of total stay (non-refundable)
  • No-show / early departure: 100% of total stay

 

Special conditions may apply for bookings of 5 or more units.

 

ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE CONDITIONS

  • Full prepayment required at the time of booking
  • Non-refundable and non-modifiable
  • Credit card is charged in EUR upon confirmation
  • Includes à la carte breakfast and VAT
  • Tourist tax is not included
  • Hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations with invalid credit cards

 

HOTEL’S DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS

Villa Dubrovnik is committed to maintaining high service quality in accordance with legal regulations, industry standards, and best practices. The hotel will fulfill all obligations unless prevented by circumstances beyond its control.

 

GUEST’S DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS

Guests must possess valid travel documents required for entry into Croatia.

Guests are required to comply with hotel rules, house policies, and safety guidelines published on the website.

Guests are responsible for checking visa requirements and any applicable government regulations prior to arrival.

 

RIGHT OF OBJECTION

If a guest is dissatisfied with the service, a written complaint may be submitted.

Complaints can be made:

  • At reception immediately, or

  • By post: Villa Dubrovnik d.d., Vlaha Bukovca 6, 20000 Dubrovnik

The hotel will confirm receipt and respond within 15 days.

 

JURISDICTION

All disputes will be resolved amicably where possible. If not, jurisdiction lies with the competent court in Croatia.

 

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Collected data includes name, address, contact details, and payment information necessary for service provision.

Data is used exclusively for:

  • Reservation processing
  • Service delivery
  • Communication and marketing (with consent)
  • Internal analysis

Guests may request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time.

Villa Dubrovnik does not share personal data with third parties without consent, except when required for service delivery.

 

COOKIES AND TECHNOLOGY

The website may use cookies to improve user experience, process reservations, and analyze usage patterns. Cookies do not identify personal identity.

 

 

CHILDREN’S DATA PROTECTION

Villa Dubrovnik does not knowingly collect data from children under 14. Parents may request access or deletion of such data at any time.

 

AGENCY SERVICES (IF APPLICABLE)

The Agency provides services in accordance with applicable laws and hospitality standards.

Reservations are confirmed upon issuance of a confirmation letter.

Payments are made in EUR via credit card or cash.

The Agency reserves the right to modify or cancel services due to extraordinary circumstances.

 

AGENCY CANCELLATION TERMS

Walking tours:

  • Cancellation within 48 hours: 100% of the tour price
  • Cancellation within 72 hours: 50% of the tour price

LOCAL GOURMET EXPERIENCE

  • Cancellation within 30 days: complimentary
  • Cancellation within 29–2 days: 50% of the tour price
  • Cancellation within 1–0 days: 100% of the tour price

ADRIATIC TREASURES: DUBROVNIK & CROATIA WINES

  • Cancellation within 24 hours: 100% of the tour price

FLAVORS OF PELJEŠAC: WINE AND BITES

  • Cancellation within 3 days: 100% of the tour price
  • Cancellation within 7–3 days: 50% of the tour price

MINDFULNESS TOURS (Morning Radiance, Serenity Walk)

  • Cancellation within 48 hours: 100% of the tour price BOAT TOURS (A Glimpse of Paradise, Ravishing Adriatic Blues, The Lush Island of Odysseus)
  • Cancellation within 72 hours: 100% of the tour price Please note that boat tours are charged in advance; a secure payment link will be sent to your email address to complete the payment.

ADVENTURE TOURS (Into the Sunset, Sea Kayaking Adventure, Konavle Adventure, Konavle on Two Wheels)

  • Cancellation within 24 hours: 100% of the tour price
  • Cancellation within 48 hours: 50% of the tour price CAR TOURS (The Hidden Treasures of Montenegro, Where East Meets West)
  • Cancellation within 24 hours: 100% of the tour price
  • Cancellation within 48 hours: 50% of the tour price

CAR TRANSFERS

  • Cancellation within 24 hours: 100% of the transfer price

Response will be provided within 15 days.

Disputes may also be resolved via the EU ODR platform.

 

FINAL PROVISIONS

All personal data processing complies with applicable data protection laws. Data is used solely for service provision and shared only with relevant partners when necessary.
